Photo Rejuvenation is a gentle but effective procedure that helps to reduce facial redness, Rosacea, hyper pigmentation, sun damage, broken capillaries, age spots, uneven pigmentation and fine wrinkles. Treatment also improves mild acne scars, reduces large pores, correct dark circles around the eye and reduces fine lines.

  • Q. Do I need to do anything before the treatments.?
  • Tanning should be avoided for at least 3 to 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after each treatment. The face should be free of any makeup or heavy creams. Exfoliating creams such as Retinoic or glycolic acid should be discontinued for about 2 days prior as well.
  • Q.How long does it take?
  • The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes for a full face treatment. Doing a full face and neck for example, can take up to 45 minutes.
  • Q.How many treatments will I need?
  • A. For optimal results a series of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended. Follow up treatments may be desired once a year to maintain results.

 


  • Q.What is the treatment like?
  • Treatment may vary from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated. First the treatment area is cleaned  and a cool gel is applied. When the pulse of light is delivered the sensation is similar to a snap of a rubber band. After treatment the gel is removed, the skin is cleaned and a sunscreen is applied. Pain is minimal. For sensitive skin a cool compress is applied following the treatment.
  • Q.What improvements will I see?
  • Patients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Expect to see a gradual decrease in redness, broken capillaries, uneven skin tones, pore size and fine lines. After each treatment the skin will feel more smoother and more even in tone.
